Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist Needed – Fairfield County, CT – 45 minutes to NYC
Non-profit psychiatric hospital in Fairfield County, CT, is recruiting a full-time Child & Adolescent psychiatrist to lead its established, adolescent residential treatment program. The total program includes an adolescent IOP and onsite school program. Patients are 13 through 17 years of age with a wide range of non-psychotic disorders. The full-time staff includes a senior social worker, junior social worker, a senior residential counselor, 24-hour staffing with additional residential counselors, education specialists and part-time psychologist. A comprehensive diagnostic assessment and work with families are important parts of the program.
The adolescent residential program is structured as a 6-week program, located on our beautiful 42 acre country campus in a newly renovated, 10-bed house. The Hospital also has a 10-bed, adolescent inpatient unit led by its own C&A psychiatrist and the two programs work collaboratively.
