Hospital / Clinic Employed Urgent Care Job in Columbia, South Carolina
This Urgent Care position in Columbia, South Carolina is offered as a hospital/clinic-employed role. In this arrangement, you would be a W-2 employee of the employing organization, which handles compensation, benefits, malpractice coverage, and scheduling, while also providing the clinical facility, staff, and supporting infrastructure. An Urgent Care opportunity is available for a BC/BE primary care physician or emergency medicine physician. A local medical center is actively recruiting urgent care physicians as their physician network is expanding and they need additional physicians to meet demand. There are NO CALL requirements. The expected work schedule is AM/PM shifts divided equally every other weekend. Physicians can expect to see 3-4 patients per hour. There are six urgent care centers altogether with about 25 urgent care physicians on staff. The support from other physicians in the network is outstanding and each center is fully staffed.
New grads as well as practicing physicians welcome to apply. Must be able to obtain SC license. Primary care or urgent care experience preferred. A competitive base salary and rvu production bonus will be offered, along with signing bonus and renewal bonus, plus comprehensive benefits. This is not a visa opportunity.
