Urgent Care Medical Director Physician For Leading Healthcare System West Atlanta area
Healthcare system is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine physician to serve as the Medical Director for three Urgent Care practices. In this position you will provide oversight to 3 locations in Carrollton, Villa Rica and Bremen, Georgia. Position is designed to be 60% clinical and 40% administrative. Participate in provider recruitment and orient new providers, review, sign and supervise advanced practice providers, provide chart reviews, corrective action and provider performance reviews. Attend medical group provider meetings, facilitate internal staff meetings, communicate clinical updates and procedural changes to all providers. Qualifications: BC FM or Emergency Medicine, minimum 5 years experience in urgent care or emergency medicine, leadership experience in a similar practice and DOT certification preferred.
