Contract Telemedicine: Internal Medicine Job in Lubbock, Texas
This telemedicine internal medicine opportunity, serving patients connected to the Lubbock, Texas area, is offered as a contract engagement. Under this arrangement, you are engaged as an independent contractor rather than an employee, typically compensated on a defined-agreement basis covering term, schedule, and rate. You would generally handle your own benefits, retirement planning, and tax withholding, with malpractice terms specified in the agreement. This structure can offer flexibility and favorable compensation terms in exchange for fewer employer-provided benefits.
This role is also offered under several other arrangements, including solo-independent, single- and multi-specialty group, hospital/clinic employment, academic, military/VA, community health center, part-time, administrative/medical director, virtual, and non-clinical case management options — this page describes the contract version specifically.
There is no patient call rotation and no emergency department call associated with this position. The financial offering for this listing is noted as the national average tier. Candidates may hold MD or DO training, be American or foreign medical graduates, and range from currently in training to very experienced; board certified, board eligible, and board ineligible candidates are all considered. U.S. citizens and green card holders are eligible to apply.
