Administrative / Medical Director Telemedicine: Internal Medicine Job in San Antonio, Texas
This telemedicine internal medicine opportunity, based in San Antonio, Texas, is offered as an Administrative/Medical Director arrangement — a physician-leadership role in which clinical oversight, quality, and organizational responsibilities make up a substantial part of the position. These roles are typically salaried and may pair administrative duties with a reduced clinical schedule, suiting physicians interested in leadership and management of clinical operations rather than solely direct patient care.
This is one of several arrangements under which the position is offered; it is also available as solo-independent, single- or multi-specialty group, hospital/health-system employed, military/VA, contract, part-time, virtual, and non-clinical case management. The financial offering for this listing is noted as the National Average tier, and compensation may be structured through an income guarantee, straight employment, an employment agreement with production bonus, or contract, depending on how the role is finalized.
There is no patient call and no emergency department call associated with this role. It is a permanent position open to board-certified, board-eligible, and board-ineligible physicians, including those trained allopathically or osteopathically, whether U.S. or foreign medical graduates, and across a range of experience levels from currently in training to very experienced.
