Military / VA Telemedicine: Internal Medicine Job in Charleston, South Carolina
This Telemedicine Internal Medicine position in Charleston, South Carolina is offered as a Military/VA opportunity — one of several practice arrangements under which this permanent role is available, alongside options such as virtual, part-time, and contract structures. A Military/VA arrangement typically means federal employment supporting active-duty service members, veterans, and their families, with compensation following federal pay schedules, federal benefits, and malpractice coverage provided under federal protection. These roles are generally known for predictable scheduling, a mission-driven patient population, and freedom from the billing and administrative demands of private practice.
For this listing, the financial offering is listed at the National Average tier, and the compensation approach may take the form of an income guarantee, straight employment, an employment agreement with production bonus, or a contract, depending on how the arrangement is finalized.
The role carries no patient call and no emergency department call obligations. Candidates may hold MD or DO training, be board certified, board eligible, or board ineligible, and may be trained domestically or internationally, provided they hold US citizenship or a green card. Physicians at any experience level, from those currently in training to very experienced clinicians, are considered.
