Contract Telemedicine: Internal Medicine Job in Cape Coral, Florida
This telemedicine internal medicine opportunity in Cape Coral, Florida is offered as a contract arrangement, engaging you as an independent contractor rather than an employee. Under this type of agreement, terms typically cover schedule and rate, with you responsible for your own benefits and generally your own retirement and tax withholding; malpractice arrangements vary by agreement. This structure often trades some employer-provided benefits for flexibility and premium compensation rates.
This role is also offered under a number of other arrangements, including part-time, virtual, solo-independent, group, employed, academic, military/VA, FQHC, admin/medical director, and non-clinical case management options — so you can consider which structure best fits your goals. The financial offering for this listing is noted as the national average tier, with pay structures across the posting including income guarantee, straight employment, and production-bonus models in addition to contract terms.
There is no patient call and no emergency department call associated with this role. Candidates may hold MD or DO training, be AMG or FMG, and range from currently in training to very experienced; board certified, board eligible, and board ineligible applicants are all considered, provided you hold US citizenship or a green card.
