Military / VA Telemedicine: Internal Medicine Job in Santa Rosa, California
This permanent telemedicine internal medicine position based in Santa Rosa, California is offered, among other options, as a Military/VA arrangement. In this federal-employment structure, you would provide care to active-duty personnel, veterans, and their families, with compensation set under federal schedules and federal benefits, and malpractice coverage provided under federal protection. This model is associated with high schedule predictability, a mission-driven patient population, and a reduced administrative and billing burden compared to private practice.
This role is also listed under several other practice structures — including solo-independent, single-specialty and multi-specialty group, hospital/clinic/MSO employment, academic, community health center/FQHC, contract, part-time, administrative/medical director, virtual, and non-clinical case management — so the Military/VA path represents one of multiple ways this position can be structured. Financial arrangements associated with the listing include income guarantee, straight employment, employment agreement with production bonus, and contract, with the financial offering listed at the national average tier.
There is no patient call and no emergency department call associated with this role. Candidates may hold MD or DO training, be American or foreign medical graduates, and may be board certified, board eligible, or board ineligible; both US citizens and green card holders are eligible, across a range of experience levels from currently in training through very experienced.
