Military / VA Telemedicine: Internal Medicine Job in Oakland, California
This Internal Medicine telemedicine position in Oakland, California is offered as a Military/VA arrangement, one of several practice structures listed for this permanent role. A Military or VA appointment is a form of federal employment that serves active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. Compensation follows federal pay schedules with federal benefits, and malpractice coverage falls under federal protection, giving you predictable scheduling and a mission-driven patient population, with less involvement in the billing and business side of care.
For this listing, the financial offering is listed at the National Average tier, and compensation may be structured through options such as an income guarantee, straight employment, an employment agreement with production bonus, or a contract, depending on how the arrangement is finalized. There is no patient call rotation and no emergency department call associated with this role.
Because this opening is listed under multiple practice structures, it may also be considered as a solo-independent, single- or multi-specialty group, hospital/clinic/MSO-employed, academic, FQHC, contract, part-time, administrative/medical director, virtual, or non-clinical case management position, depending on how you wish to engage with the opportunity.
