Hospital / Clinic Employed Telemedicine: Internal Medicine Job in Hayward, California
This internal medicine telemedicine position is offered as a hospital/clinic-employed role, meaning you would be a W-2 employee of the health system rather than an independent contractor. In this structure, the employer manages compensation, benefits, malpractice coverage, and scheduling, and supplies the infrastructure needed to deliver care — allowing you to focus on clinical work without separate business administration. This is one of several arrangements under which this opportunity is available, alongside options such as contract, part-time, academic, and administrative/medical director structures.
Compensation for this listing follows an employment agreement with a production bonus, income guarantee, or straight employment, with the financial offering listed at the national average tier. There is no patient call rotation and no emergency department call associated with this role.
The position is open to physicians at a range of experience levels, from those currently in training to very experienced clinicians, and accepts board-certified, board-eligible, or board-ineligible candidates trained through allopathic or osteopathic pathways, including both U.S. and foreign medical graduates. Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship or a green card. The role may serve communities of varying sizes, from small towns to large metropolitan areas.
