Military / VA Telemedicine: Family Practice Job in San Antonio, Texas
This permanent telemedicine Family Practice role, based in San Antonio, Texas, is offered as a Military/VA position — federal employment supporting active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. As with other federal opportunities, compensation follows a federal schedule and malpractice coverage falls under federal protection, with the structure generally offering predictable scheduling and a mission-driven patient population, apart from the administrative and billing responsibilities of private practice.
This same virtual role is also listed under several other arrangements, including part-time, contract, single- and multi-specialty group, hospital/clinic employment, and administrative/medical director options, so you can discuss which structure fits your goals. The financial offering for this listing is presented at the National Average tier. There is no patient call rotation and no emergency department call associated with this position.
Candidates may be Board Certified, Board Eligible, or Board Ineligible, and both MD and DO training backgrounds are considered, including both American and foreign medical graduates. Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship or a Green Card, and physicians across experience levels — from those currently in training to very experienced clinicians — are welcome to apply.
