Experienced Pediatric Surgeon Eastern NC 1 Hour from Raleigh

The Department of Pediatric Surgery is seeking an experienced fellowship trained pediatric surgeon to contribute to the growth and development of the pediatric surgery program. Applicants should have an interest in providing emergent and elective pediatric surgical procedures and be board certified in general and pediatric surgery. Candidates should have a proven interest and ability to teach residents and medical students and in pursuing clinical research. Privileges at 900 bed Medical Center a level 1 trauma center. Expansive referral network consisting of 29 counties and over 1.4 million people. Established academic division with advanced practice provider and resident support. The division covers a single hospital and has satellite clinics. Children’s hospital medical staff includes Pediatric Neurosurgery, Pediatric General Surgery, Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery, and Pediatric Plastic Surgery.
