Cardiovascular Surgeon needed for a very busy cardiovascular surgery group in eastern TN. Incumbent will perform heart surgery and thoracic procedures in a multi-hospital surgical network with some of East Tennessee’s preferred medical centers. Physician will have a primary location at one hospital. Employed position with call 1:3, every 2-3 weekends. Hospital is a premier medical facility and top performing heart hospital. In addition to providing the area’s leading cardiac services, they have a nationally recognized emergency department and offer award winning care throughout the facility. Team of more than 500 physicians and over 1,800 employees that work together to make sure all patients receive top notch service. Hospital is licensed for over 300 beds, 30 critical care beds, 37 emergency beds, 28 surgery suites, 4 cath labs and 2 EP labs, 24 LDRP suites.
