Compensation is structured as straight employment or an employment agreement with a production bonus, with the financial offering listed at the Open tier. Call responsibilities include a patient call rotation of 1:4 and an emergency department call rotation of 1:6 or better.

The role is open to candidates who are Board Certified or Board Eligible, trained through allopathic (MD) or osteopathic (DO) pathways, and either American or foreign medical graduates. Both recently trained and experienced physicians are considered, and applicants must hold US citizenship or a Green Card.

Practice Details

We are seeking an experienced, board certified Cardiothoracic and/or Cardiovascular surgeon to expand their cardiovascular service line.
 
Ideal candidate will be well trained and accomplished in all cardiothoracic procedures as well as complex aortic and valve surgery. Additional experience with endovascular procedures (EVAR, TAVR, structural heart, aorta, and/or peripheral) preferred. Seeking a team player who is passionate about patient care and maintaining excellent quality outcomes.
 
Program currently performs 1000 cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and endovascular procedures annually.
Manageable call shared by well-established and practiced partner with support of surgical PA’s.
 
Recently maintained one of JCAHO’s top 150 hospitals for quality, the system proudly boasts a certified Heart and Vascular Center which houses a 64-slice CT scanner, heart failure and valve clinic, 2 cardiac catheterization labs, 2 dedicated state-of-the-art operating rooms, an EP lab, CVICU, and cardiac rehabilitation center; all staffed by a dedicated team of the most qualified and highly skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologists, Perfusionists, Physician Assistants, nurses and support personnel specializing in cardiac surgery.
 
The team is currently recognized with a 3 star rating for CABG surgery by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS). Additional quality recognitions for the health system include Joint Commission disease specific certifications in Advanced Heart Failure, Advanced Primary Stroke Center, and Diabetes Care; accredited chest pain center, and recognized as GWTG Gold Plus in HF and Stroke and a sustained platinum award in AMI care.
 
Solid referral base comprised of 11 Interventional Cardiologists, one non interventional cardiologist, and 3 Electrophysiologists on staff.
