Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Our client is currently in need of a very experienced adult Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their facility in the Charlotte Metro Area for a locums opportunity.

Requirements:
Comprehensive cardiac surgery and thoracic surgery skill set including ability to take care of aortic dissections, endocarditis , emergency CABG, ECMO cannulation, management of esophageal perforation, and post op management of critical cardiac surgery patients.

Practice Details:

• On-call coverage and follow-up care after surgery ONLY. Patient rounding and communication between other providers within the clinic.
• One day a week in office coverage/hospital coverage and every 3rd weekend, exact dates TBD once we find candidate.
• 30-40 patients per day. No PEDS.
• Surgical PAs will be available for surgical assistance.
