About the job:
We are seeking an ABSM board certified sleep physician to work either part-time (1-2 days/week) at our new Sleep Medicine Center located at Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford. The position joins two other physicians with pre- and post-sleep consults. No call required other than management of own patients. The patient population is adult and geriatric, with no pediatrics currently.
The new Hallmark Health Sleep Medicine Center at Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford offers complete care and services by a team of sleep medicine providers trained in the diagnosis, treatment and management of sleep disorders including sleep apnea, excessive snoring, narcolepsy, chronic insomnia and circadian rhythm abnormalities.
As there is a strong correlation between obesity and sleep apnea, the hospital is able to provide comprehensive treatments for bariatric surgery patients with an onsite sleep medicine program. The new Sleep Center is adjacent to the newly renovated location for Hallmark Health’s Center for Weight Management and Weight-Loss Surgery.
Care is provided in new, state-of-the-art facilities with the latest in diagnostic testing and treatments. Sleep studies are offered both in-home and in-hospital in a safe and comfortable environment. Patient care is collaborative and highly personalized with care and treatment plans that include education, ongoing care management and support.
