DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGIST
Health system in Upstate New York, is in search of a full-time Diagnostic Radiologist to join a well-established practice that covers two local hospitals and clinics.
Radiology group is well established private practice providing imaging services at the local Health system, which includes two hospitals, an outpatient women’s department, and two urgent care centers. They have a solid and exclusive provider agreement with the Health System and independently own and run the MRI department.
They are recruiting a diagnostic radiologist. This is a rare and extraordinary opportunity as a track for partnership is offered for an on-site or remote position.
Radiology group operates independently from the health care system, and they emphasize quality and balance of life and work with generous vacation and night service coverage hours.
POSITION:
Weekday (M-F) coverage onsite or remotely from 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Night service provides preliminary reads on weekdays from 10:00 pm-8:00 am daily for all modalities
Weekday call is 5:00 pm–10:00 pm for cross-sectional imaging only
Saturday and Sunday call is 8:00 am-6:00 pm, then back up to night service
Calls are rotated equally from day one
Calls are taken from home

Located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region. The region offers some of the cleanest, most picturesque lakes as well as great outdoor activities all year long. They include skiing, golf, fishing, hiking, swimming and sailing. Close proximity to Rochester.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
MD/DO
Proficient in X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound & basic NM. Being skilled or trained in mammography is a plus (if an on-site position is accepted). No mammography coverage is required for a remote position
COMPENSATION:
Annual salary: above 80% percentile, including fully funded 401K plan
