About This Non-Clinical / Case Management Opportunity

This role offers a non-clinical application of your radiation oncology expertise, applying medical judgment outside direct patient treatment — reviewing cases, coordinating care, and working with insurers, employers, or health organizations on utilization and care decisions. This type of position is typically structured as a business-hours role without call, suited to physicians looking to step outside direct patient care while continuing to use their clinical training.

This particular opportunity, based in San Francisco, California, is presented here as a non-clinical case management arrangement, and is also offered under contract and virtual structures — so you may want to review those options as well. It is a permanent position structured as a contract engagement, with the financial offering listed as Open. Consistent with the non-clinical nature of the role, there is no call responsibility.

Candidates should be board certified and hold either an MD or DO degree, and the role is open to both American and foreign medical graduates. U.S. citizenship is required, and the position is intended for experienced physicians.
