Combined pulmonology and hybrid hospitalist opening in beautiful Southern-Central Colorado. The hospitalist is starting a new program. Work Monday to Friday days seeing a patient census of 8 to 11. Call is 1 weekend per month and 1 night a week. Practice at only one 25 bed hospital with a serving area of about 20000 people. Cover a 2 bed ICU. Hospitalists would also need to perform stress tests and care for post-surgery patients. This will be an employed position from the hospital with a competitive base salary malpractice relocation and full benefits. This rural community has about 8000 residents and is located in a valley and they receive some of the best weather in Colorado with very moderate seasons. Enjoy access to the state’s best mountains and 14000 foot peaks that offer skiing 30 minutes away hiking climbing mountain biking and hot springs. The Arkansas River runs through town and provides exceptional rafting and fishing. Colorado Springs is the closest metropolitan area and it is 90 minutes away.
