An opening is available in southern TN for a Geriatric Psychiatrist to work both inpatient and outpatient settings. The inpatient care of patients is strictly the geriatric population while the outpatient clinic can be open to other adult ages. The inpatient unit is a 12 bed geriatric psych unit with an average daily census of 10. Currently, there is no other geriatric psychiatrist on staff and back support is from a nearby city. The treatment team see very little turnover, with many, including the Medical Director, having been practicing here for over 15 years.
