Outstanding Psychiatry Job -- WA #7105
This progressive healthcare system is seeking to add a BE/BC Psychiatrist to their staff. Currently, they have three full-time BC Psychiatrists. The reason for the new physician is due to growth of the program. This is an employed position and offers an excellent compensation, bonus and benefit package.
The position is an exciting one. It includes program development, adjusting patient meds and leading the treatment team. You will be seeing a mix of acute and chronically mentally ill clients. The position does require that you have both strong clinical and administrative background with a focus on quality outcomes.
The treatment team consists of RN’s, master level counselors, recreational therapists and mental health specialists.
The program manages a 15 bed in-patient unit of all private rooms and two seclusion rooms. The unit is spacious and is a real healing environment. You, of course, will have a private office for your work. In 2013, the program added a teaching element through rotations of residents through the program.
The area is ideal, located near the coast and just an hour to Seattle. Schools, housing, dining, shopping and outdoor recreation abound here. You will find a great professional and personal oasis here.

This position is specific for a Board Prepared or Board Certified Psychiatrist. Requirements then are that the successful candidate would have a degree as an M.D. or D.O. with proven residency training in Psychiatry.
