We are seeking a Psychiatrist for an inpatient-only clinical staff position with the 2nd largest hospital in Vermont (188 beds), serving an population of 100,000+ residents. Join an excellent team managing a 19-bed inpatient unit. Even though 90% of admissions are voluntary this is a locked unit. Your practice will be approximately 80% general psychiatry, and 20% geriatrics. You may do occasional pediatric consult. There is no forensics involved. Call is shared on a 1:5 basis. This is a hospital employed position offering a very competitive compensation package with a generous base salary, and hospital benefits including: a retirement program with employer match, a tax-deferred earnings program, and a total of 32 paid days off, with 8 days of CME and CME allowance, as well as relocation assistance.
