Job #12337 | Psychiatrist Opportunity - Adult and Child/Adolescent - an hour from Pittsburg
Seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist willing to see a mix of Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry on the inpatient service. The newly recruited physician would join a hospital affiliated group practice that includes three associates to provide both inpatient and outpatient care as well as weekend rounding and call. The current call expectation is 1:4; hospital is exploring options to reduce call.
The inpatient program features a 23-bed adult unit and 12-bed child/adolescent unit along with six swing beds. The child/adolescent program treats children ages 5 through 13 and adolescents age 14-18. Partial hospitalization programs known as Kite Strings and Pathfinders also offer services to children in those age segments. There is also an adult partial hospitalization program. The program does have the support of a liaison that assists with new admissions.
