Medical Director will  manage the administration of medical services and risk management.  The position will be 75% administrative and 25% clinical.

Your responsibilities will include supervision of the medical team including APRNS and consulting to the clinical team and agency risk management committee.  You will also be responsible for 8-10 hours a week of direct care  in the community based outpatient clinic.  You will have the option of working with adults or children and adolescents depending on your background. 

You will also oversee the supervision of residents and nurse practitioners who rotate through Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) as well as through East Boston Neighborhood Health Center.   You will also be involved in setting up an integrative medicine program to integrate psychiatry with primary care.

There is NO CALL and NO WEEKENDS for this position and you will work M-F 9-5.  Some of the clinics are open until 8pm so if you would like some flexibility with your hours it can be arranged.

As Medical Director you will be based out of Chelsea  and will travel to Boston and  East Boston, Boston, or Revere, MA all of which are within very close proximity.

Spanish or Mandarin proficiency desirable .
