Psychiatry rounding
19 Bed unit
10 hour shifts with night call. 1 physician on during the day and taking night call - 7-5 or 8-6 pm
Expected 18-20 a day
Pager call on the nights. Rarely called back but will come in for seclusions and restraints
prefer blocks but will at least need 5-7 shifts in a row
EMR Meditech with dictation
rounding on psych patients; acute psych unit treating ages 18 and over, homicidal, substance abuse, little dementia, no geriatrics, no traumatic brain injury;
