Seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist to be employed by the hospital.
Special requirements and interests include: Diagnosis and treatment of mental health issues common in older patients.
There are 11 Psychiatrists outside the service area willing to help provide coverage. There is an existing office space available within 4 miles of the hospital. This space is newly designed with 4 exam rooms. The hospital has all of the necessary equipment needed.
Hospital has a 14-Bed Senior Behavioral Health Unit; one of the very few exclusive units in Chicago area. The combined service area has over 100000 + seniors that are 65+ with an estimated 6% growth in that population. The hospital had a total of 1633 admissions into the Senior Behavioral Health Unit in 2013 and 1877 as of 12/22/2014.
