Responsibilities of the Psychiatrist
· Full-time position
· Provide treatment to child & adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
· Treat patients in inpatient setting
· Call schedule 1:15
· Perform Evaluations and Medical Checks medical and behavioral health units
· Provide Education to patients, families, and the community
· Perform other duties as required
Requirements of the Psychiatrist
· MD or DO
· Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program
· Eligible for license for the practice of medicine in the State of Connecticut
· Board certification/eligibility in Psychiatry
· Experience with EMR medical software
