Dedicated Board Certified Psychiatrist needed to join the team in Los Angeles, CA as National Medical Director of Mental Health Services.
In this role as the National Director of Mental Health Services, you will be responsible for projecting and integrating the Mission and Core Values of the organization as well as the Management Philosophy in the leadership within and outside the Healthcare Centers and the Department of Medicine.
Your responsibilities will be 50 administrative and 50 percent direct patient care and you will be expected to travel 30% of the time. You will be responsible for directing the overall Mental Health Services program and developing and implementing protocols that assure timely evaluation and management of clients in need of mental health services.
As National Medical Director of Mental Health Services you will work in collaboration with the Southern Regional Medical Director of Mental Health; Chief and Deputy Chiefs of Medicine; the Southern and Western Regional Medical Directors; members of the Health Care Center leadership teams; the Director of Nursing; and various external grantor agencies and mental health services organizations.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the mission and enjoy a diverse and multifaceted set of responsibilities. Experience with LGBT population desireable.
Must be BC/BE and proficiency in Spanish highly desired
