state of the art 115 bed behavioral health facility providing Mental Health and Co-occurring Addictions Care for Children, adolescents and adults. Services will include both IP and OP. The facility is scheduled to open this summer and they are hiring a child & adolescent psychiatrist to work IP, OP, or a combination of both.
You will be responsible for a case load of 10-20 patients depending on census. The planned average length of stay in the facility will be 7-10 days followed by 2-4 weeks of OP/IOP treatment. You can choose to work all IP or you can follow your patients from IP through the OP transition.
Patients will be 100% Children and adolescents aged 5 and up.
There will be 2-3 other psychiatrists who you will work with as well as a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a team of social workers and therapists. Call will be optional and paid extra.
Salary range 300-350K. 30 hours qualifies you for benefits. Or if you prefer working as an independent contractor with no benefits the facility is open to that.
