Practice opportunity with a large community health center located in East Chicago, IN area. They a looking to hire an child & adolescent psychiatrist on a permanent full-time basis. The position details are as follows: Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist • Primarily outpatient care • 36 hours per week • Light call schedule • Comfortable with EMR is preferred • Generous salary offered • Comprehensive benefits package including CME and loan Repayment The organization is not-for-profit, comprehensive mental health center located in Northwest Indiana and just under an hour away from downtown Chicago. The practice is part of private non-profit health centers that have successful served Indiana for over 35 years. The staff consist of approximately 450 employees. The medical staff has 11 full time psychiatrists 8 adult and 3 child and adolescent psychiatrist. State of the art evidence based treatment. They have access to special state funding to support care of chronically mentally ill. The organization received a grant for $2M from SAMHSA to improve health outcomes in our severely mental ill core clientele.
