Our client focuses on behavioral health care for children and families for those in need. Due to growth, our client is seeking a Child & Adolescent psychiatrist to provide med checks and evals to clients age 5 and up. You will work in North Miami Beach and Dade County and provide outpatient services. There are also openings in Jacksonville, Tampa and Palm Beach
You will work Monday-Friday. There is no call and no weekend work associated with this position.
Clients are mostly Medicaid and a large percentage are school based and foster home referrals. Evaluations are scheduled for 1 hour and med checks are scheduled for every 15 minutes (5 updates per hour). There is a high no show rate so you will rarely see that high a volume.
In addition to med checks and evals you will be responsible for leadership, support and guidance of the team and for the supervision of nurse practitioners. You will also be responsible for staff training and will participate in regular treatment team meetings.

Salary range is $200-$220,000 plus a performance based incentive where you can earn an extra $75 per hour. You can also earn an extra $1500 per month ($18K per year) for each NP you supervise.
