Contract Psychiatry: Child & Adolescent Job in San Jose, California
This child & adolescent psychiatry opening in San Jose, California is offered as a contract position, one of several arrangements under which this role is available. As a contract engagement, you would work as an independent contractor rather than an employee — typically under a defined agreement covering term, schedule, and rate, with 1099-based pay and responsibility for your own benefits, retirement, and tax withholding; malpractice terms would be spelled out in the agreement itself.
Alongside the contract option, this position is also listed under several other practice structures, including solo-independent, single-specialty group, multi-specialty group, and employed models — so the contract format is one path among a broader set of ways this role can be structured. The financial offering for this listing is noted in the $300,000–$349,999 range, and financial arrangements more broadly are listed as including income guarantee, straight employment, employment agreement with production bonus, or contract terms, depending on which structure you pursue.
Call responsibilities for this role are listed as none, covering both emergency department call and patient call rotation.
