This a not-for-profit, community-based health system in Fort Wayne, IN is recruiting a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Neurologist to join our Pediatric Subspecialty Team. The service area of northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio has a population of more than 895,000.
Specifics of The Role
• Outpatient clinic and inpatient/ED coverage o 1:2 call schedule: call volume is reasonable & many cases can wait until next day
o Strong pediatric hospitalist program/ intensivists to assist
• Clinic time Monday – Friday with schedule coordination with current Pediatric Neurologist; EEG reading time is also incorporated
• Research opportunities at our Center for Innovation and Research and through our collaboration with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
· 97 beds dedicated to Women’s and Children’s care: 40 Family Birthing, 34 NICU, 16 Pediatrics and 7 PICU
· Pediatric specialists collaborate with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, the #3 ranked pediatric hospital in the US, to bring access to the nation’s top pediatric experts, to northeast Indiana
