Our client in Western Mississippi is currently in need of locums Pediatrician to join their facility for a call coverage only opportunity.

Requirements:

• Must be Board Eligible
• Must be able to care for Normal Newborn Nursery and Level II Newborn Nursery
• Skills:
  • Delivery Room Care:
    • Attend “at risk” cesarean delivery with neonatal team
    • Attend “at risk” vaginal delivery with neonatal team
  • General Pediatric Care: Adolescents, Children, Critical Care, Infants
  • Neonatal Care:
    • Level 1 Nursery
    • Level II Nursery (NICU)
    • Neonatal resuscitation
    • Routine Newborn Care
  • Procedures:
    • Arterial puncture
    • Central Venous Line
    • EKG interpretation
    • Laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation
    • Lumbar spinal tap
    • Management of simple fractures and dislocations
    • Moderate sedation – pediatric
    • Neonatal resuscitation
    • Phototherapy
    • Umbilical arterial line
    • Umbilical venous line
    • Ventilator management

Practice Details:

• Practice Setting: Inpatient. No clinic work - only hospital call for ER, consults, IP, and nursery.
