Hospital / Clinic Employed Pediatrics: Child Development Job in Alabama, Alabama
This pediatric child development position in Alabama is offered under several practice structures, including hospital/clinic/MSO employment. In this arrangement, the hospital or clinic serves as both the recruiting and paying entity: you would be a W-2 employee, with the employer administering compensation, benefits, malpractice coverage, and scheduling, and typically supplying the clinical facility, staff, and referral infrastructure. This model is designed to minimize business and administrative responsibilities so you can focus on clinical care.
The role is also listed under other structures — including solo-independent, single-specialty and multi-specialty group, academic, and community health center/FQHC arrangements — so employed status is one of several ways this position can be structured. Compensation may be arranged as an income guarantee, straight employment, or an employment agreement with a production bonus, and the financial offering for this listing is presented at the national average tier.
Emergency department call follows a 1:4 rotation. The position is open to physicians who are board certified or board eligible, trained through MD or DO pathways, and at various experience levels from currently in training through very experienced, practicing in a community of 100,000–499,999.
