This Pain Management (Nonanesthesia) position in the Houston, Texas area is offered as a solo / independent practice arrangement. Pinemont Medical is an independent medical practice located on the northwest part of Houston, Tx. You will be joining a team of professionals that help a population of under serviced patients from all communities.
Our patients have medical pain diagnosis as well as general medical diagnosis. With more than ten years at the same location our practice already has an established patient database. We are passionate about the community and those we serve, and are always looking for new ways to help our patients improve their quality of life by expanding, and improving our services.
Our physicians primary responsibilities are to examine and treat patients based on their pain and general medical diagnosis, to prescribe the appropriate medication therapy, to educate the patients on their condition and self management, including lifestyle changes. and there are no procedures to perform. The population will consist on adults only for pain. Our clinic offers free sports and school physicals to those 18 and under. Patients can be seen for accidents or injury, common cold or flu, diabetes, and hypertension, weight loss, pregnancy testing, or any other condition. We offer physical therapy by appointment. Patients seen for pain are drug tested, records verified, and they are required to sign a contract that prohibits them from going to any other physician for pain medication. Common medications prescribed are Norco, Soma, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Gabapentin, Bio-Freeze, Metformin, Hydrochlorothiazide, Lisinopril, Tramadol, Tylenol #3 or Tylenol #4, Amoxicillin, Penicillin, Phentermine, or any other medication the physician feels necessary to treat a patient condition. As a physician you also have control over policies and procedures that you want in place.
