Western NC – an opportunity is available for a BE/BC to work, either as a hospital employed physician or in an independent practice set up with assistance from the hospital. There had been one ENT who treated about 25 pts /day and had a busy practice, but who retired last year. There is no other ENT provider within 30 min of here. Locally, there is just one hospital, about 150 beds, which serves a primary market area of 70,000. Live and work in one of the oldest towns in western NC. Though this is a small semi-rural community of about 5,000 , the region attracts many tourists for hiking, cycling events, festivals, golf and the beauty of the nearby Blue Ridge Mts. Asheville and Charlotte are both 55 miles from here and the Atlantic coast beaches are a five hr drive.
