ORTHOPEDIC SPINE SURGERY WYOMING $495,000+BONUS+BENEFITS CALL EVERY 4th. Opportunities await you in this rural community in scenic Wyoming with year-round recreational opportunities and magnificent sight-seeing. If you are a fisherman, hunter, skier or just an outdoor enthusiast this may be the place for you. Wildlife abounds. Antelope are frequently seen, wild horses run in herds just a few miles away. Within the region are Elk, Deer, Moose, and on occasion Big Horn Sheep are sighted. Within short driving distances - unimpeded by traffic lights, are Jackson Hole, the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone National Park, Park City, Steamboat Springs, and Salt Lake City. Daily flights connect this regional airport to Denver and Salt Lake. This hospital has recently completed a $63 million renovation which includes a brand new medical office building and the implementation of a complete electronic health record system. There are no HMO or PPO organizations and a low Medicare, Medicaid, and uninsured population - commercial insurance being the norm. This is a NEW position due to growth. There are at least 150-200 spinal surgeries that come out of the community every year, most of them going to Salt Lake. Call is 10 days a month of regular call, not spinal call. There is no trauma spinal surgery. There is 24/7 anesthesia and radiology coverage and OR block time. Candidate will be doing about 70-80% spine, 20-30% general. There are no Orthopedic Spine or Neurosurgeons in the community. The hospital has 3 orthopedists in town right now, but nobody is doing spine. This is a hospital employed position, which includes base salary, performance bonus, full and comprehensive benefits including malpractice, relocation assistance and student loan repayment. In addition, it's important to note that Wyoming does not have state income tax. This opportunity does qualify for a J1 Waiver!!
