Orthopedic Surgery Physician Job near South Padre Island, Texas (j-5164). Orthopedic Surgeon Needed in South Texas A general orthopedic surgeon is needed in a rapidly growing area in Texas. The group is looking for a physician with an interest in upper extremity, hand, foot and ankle, and peds is a plus. The practice is moving to a level II trauma center and needs a new physician to help support and grow their orthopedic program. There are currently 2 other general orthopedic surgeons in the group. The new physician would take about 6-7 per month of paid call. Physician will primarily be at one hospital, but will have privileges at both area hospitals. The position offers a competitive base salary with productivity, a sign on bonus, relocation, full benefits, PTO, CME, and is in one of the most beautiful places in Texas to live. Ability to speak Spanish is a huge plus, but not required.
