Join an orthopedic surgery group covering a 325 bed with a service population of 175,000. The hospital employs a 23 physician team of hospitalists and owns 33 clinics in the surrounding counties, including 13 primary care clinics. The new surgeon will have a terrific referral base. The physician will be situated in a newly constructed orthopedic surgery center. There is also a new 60,000 square foot Ambulatory Surgery Center. Compensation is exceptional and there is a full employee-benefits package. Call is 1:5. Da Vinci and MAKO robotics on site. Training in adult reconstructive surgery would be ideal, but not required for consideration. The community is located in North Carolina's Inner Banks region, about 30 miles from Fayetteville, NC. It is home to a 9,138 acre state park with 115 miles of water, 81 of which are designated National Wild and Scenic waters. The park is also an official site on the North Carolina Birding Trail.
