Galesburg Cottage Hospital (173 beds), located in Galesburg, IL,is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join two others in practice.The opportunity would be an employment opportunity with a hospital owned clinic. This is a traditional in &outpatient practice. The Orthopedic Surgeons have approximately 40 patient encounters per office day in the outpatient clinic. The office is located on the first floor of the MOB next to the hospital. Seeking physicians with interest in shoulders, hips, knees, sports injuries and general orthopedic surgery. There is a planned execution of a Marshall Steele Orthopedic Center of Excellence program in the spring of 2015. Referral patterns are well-established for this clinic. Potential call coverage of 1:4. The hospital is located in Knox County, IL with a combined service area population of 70,000.
