An exciting hospital-employed opportunity for a Physician Board Certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Occupational Medicine. As Medical Director of Occupational Health Services duties would include the following:
- Provide weekly medical provider services at established OHS clinic and designated work-sites which may include:
- DOT physicals
- Worker compensation evaluations and treatment
- Pre-placement exams
- Fit for duty exams
- Health surveillance evaluations
- Periodic exams
- Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers NPs and PAs for all clinical services
- Authorization of RN nursing protocols related to occupational health nursing procedures (AAOHN guidelines)
- Review and authorization of standard operating procedures for all OHS client contracts
- Participation in the development of OHS policies procedures and protocols
- Representation of OHS position on health and safety issues with medical staff as necessary
Package Includes:
Salary is commensurate with experience and MGMA salary guidelines are consulted. A two-year salary guarantee is offered as well as a a generous benefits package which includes 32 days of PTO per year CME stipend above the national average malpractice insurance with tail the reimbursement of relocation expenses and payment of licenses and fees. Additional benefits available may include visa support loan forgiveness and a monthly stipend with the early signing of a contract while still attending residency or fellowship.
