This
Regional Medical Center is seeking a board certified and experienced Maternal
Fetal Medicine physician to join their well-established and highly respected
group of physicians.
Qualified Candidates:
· Join 2 maternal fetal medicine physicians
· Consultative only, no deliveries with inpatient coverage
· No in-house call
· Practice call 1:3 / taken in week increments / mostly telephone call
· All full-time sonographers are boarded in fetal echocardiography
· OBGYN residents rotate through office / opportunity for teaching, if interested
· 2 practice locations (Gainesville and Ocala) with expansion opportunities
· Large catchment area
· Board certification strongly preferred
· Proficiency in cerclage placement desired
· Proficiency in amniocentesis and / or chorionic villus sampling (CVS) would be a plus
· First MFM practice in Florida to obtain AUM 76811 Adjunct Detailed Fetal Anatomic US Accreditation
· Only MFM practice in the area that is AIUM accredited
· The hospital delivers over 3,400 babies a year and recently opened level III NICU
· GE Voluson E10 machines and reporting system (Viewpoint) available
