RESPONSIBILITIES AND FACILITY DETAILS Gynecology (GYN)
- Mix of office and surgical practice. 2 full days of surgery each week. This is not a strictly office-based practice, or strictly cosmetic. Think OBGYN practice minus the OB.
- 4.5-day work week.
- NP in office to support you.
- 2 other GYNs also employed by this hospital provide shared call and collegiality. Call is essentially clinic call only. You may have to go back to the hospital after clinic hours once or twice per calendar year.
- No robot. No plans of ever getting one.
- Sophisticated Women’s Health Center which includes Imaging, and a full-time Breast Surgeon.
- Flat organization with easy access to administration and decisions made quickly.
- Cannot support visas of any kind
- Cannot have any personal background issues in the NPDB within the last 10 years. Example: drugs, alcohol, fraud, etc.
- Malpractice history - case by case.
- Must be Board Certified within 36 months of completion of training.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Gynecology (GYN)
- Mixture of clinic and surgical.
- Average 2 full hysterectomies and 10 minor cases each week per surgeon.
- Laparoscopic equipment is less than 3 years old.
