OB/GYN practice on the beautiful California North Coast is looking for a BE BC generalist to work at an award winning hospital with an award winning obstetric department. This is essentially a designer practice situation in which most needs can be accommodated. You would be working with three CNMs a board certified FP and a board certified FACOG doing 30-40 deliveries per month and NO first call unless needed to help with BE status. Their office sonographer does the only NT testing north of Santa Rosa. Devoted weekly operating room block time is given for your gynecologic surgical patients.
They have a thriving practice that encompasses high risk obstetrics and all members of their medical staff are board certified in their respective fields. Their Critical Access Hospital keeps them small but financially healthy and vigorous in their pursuit of delivering high quality care. They choose this area because of its outstanding beauty and recreational opportunities.
Numerous staff avail themselves of the many activities such as running (many "fun" and beach runs) biking kayaking hiking camping in the Redwoods backpacking salmon and steelhead fishing on the nearby rivers aviation surfing golf hunting access to snow skiing and summer water sports and skin diving. The office building is 2500 square feet 50 yards from the labor/delivery room door. There is state of the art equipment full time ultrasonographer nuchal translucency testing and three midwives and one family practitioner who does cesarean sections to handle all first call coverage. They are a California dedicated Rural Health Clinic and stable financially.
