Employed Experienced Vascular Neurologist Eastern NC 1 Hour from Raleigh
Position requires minimum of 2 years post fellowship experience
The Department of Neurology is seeking a 100% inpatient vascular neurologist to join their growing neuroscience program. Applicants should be board certified in vascular neurology. The hospital is a 900 bed tertiary Level 1 Trauma Center that serves 29 eastern NC counties and 1.4 million people. 7 on/7 off schedule. The existing neuroscience team consists of 9 neurosurgeons, including 3 dual-trained cerebrovascular neurosurgeons, an interventional neurologist, a neuro-oncologist, 24/7 stroke neurohospitalists, neurologists, neurointensivists, and a large team of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. Inpatient only clinical responsibilities. ECU Health Medical Center is home to a 24-bed NSICU led by neurointensivists as well as a large rehab center providing both inpatient and outpatient support to neurology patients. Strong investment in technology including Gamma Knife, NeuroBlate, and RAPID.
