Employed Experienced Epileptologist Eastern NC 1 Hour from Raleigh Large Specialty Group
Requires 2 years post fellowship experience
Healthcare system in eastern North Carolina, is expanding their Neurology Service line. Large Neurology group is adding an experienced epileptologist to their group, to join 10 adult neurologists, 2 pediatric neurologists and 4 NPs in and established and busy practice. Hospital privileges at a 900 bed level 1 Trauma Center. Primarily outpatient focused position. Teaching and clinical research responsibilities with an opportunity for an affiliate faculty appointment. Inpatient Stroke call covered by Neuro-hospitalist team. On-site Infusion Suite, In office Lab, EEG, EMG and Nerve Conduction, ALS Clinic. 24-bed NSICU led by Neuro-intensivists as well as a 75-bed CARF accredited rehabilitation center providing inpatient and outpatient support to neurology patients Strong investment in technology including Gamma Knife, NeuroBlate, and RAPID.
