We are expanding the service. We currently have 1 neurologist and she does IP only (we recruited her initially as a neurohospitalist); however, we would like to expand the service to IP and OP….which is why we are recruiting a second. IP responsibilities are primarily consults; assignment as attending is rare. The call would be 1:3; we wouldn’t expect them to be on call every other night. It is a hospital employed position with excellent benefits.
