Employed Neuro-hospitalist Opportunity Raleigh, Beaches Proximity

Neuroscience group is recruiting an inpatient general neurologist in eastern NC.  Posting requires at least 2 years post training experience.  Applicants must be board certified in neurology.  Hospital privileges at a 900 bed medical center.  Existing neuroscience team consists of 9 neurosurgeons, including 3 dual-trained cerebrovascular neurosurgeons, an interventional neurologist, a neuro-oncologist, 24/7 stroke neuro-hospitalists, neurologists, neuro-intensivists, and a large team of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. Highlights include 7 on/7 off with 0800-1700 on-site and home call for nights (avg 1-4 calls/night),  only general neurology patients-no stroke, 100% inpatient, consultative service, patients admitted to hospitalist service, 24 bed NSICU let by neuro-intensivists as well as large rehab center that provides both IP and OP support for Neuro patients.  Strong investment in technology including Gamma Knife, NeuroBlate and RAPID.  Position comes with highly competitive compensation package and robust benefit package.
