This is a location decision first and foremost. The San Francisco bay area is very expensive and has traffic and long commutes. Generally a physician with family ties is best suited for this area. It is an amazing place to live in terms entertainment, shopping, sports and out doors activities. Most physicians live in the hills and reverse commute. There are excellent private schools and academia for the physician. Please research the bay area if you do not have family ties before inquiring.
FINANCIAL
Salary Range: __Physician $610,000 Employed first year This may extend into additional years but physician may also chose to negotiate partnership and change to production model.
Structure/Incentives: 4 physicians in practice. Adding a 5th physician ASAP The main office is in Danville and secondary office in Castro Valley. The primary hospital is Eden Hospital. Eden Hospital is located in Castro Valley. Sutter Neuro Sciences is located at Eden Hospital.
